Performance artist and fashion icon, Lady Gaga, has never been afraid of expressing herself through what she wears. She recently posed for the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan with slabs of raw beef slung over her slender frame, and immediately generated slew of responses.
Gaga presents many issues by covering her private areas with raw meat: America as a society is one of the largest consumers of beef and practices the cruelest methods of factory farming while a large population of third world countries are suffering from starvation.
Lady Gaga is making a statement, no doubt. Whether it's tasteful or tasteless is up for debate. As a bikini, this might not be the most appropriate attire for the beach, but it looks great on the cover of a magazine.
